Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging educational experiences, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and nurturing each child's social and academic growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity.
Duties:
- Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and curriculum development.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management techniques.
- Help create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that fosters creativity, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies to facilitate smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with head teachers
- Ability to follow lesson plans while adapting to the needs of individual students.
- Certification or training in childcare or early childhood education is advantageous; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
- Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children to foster their growth and curiosity.
