Overview
We are currently looking for an evening Security Officer to be posted 32-40 hours a week at a college in the Oklahoma City Metro. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors alike. You will routinely patrol the campus grounds, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond promptly to any security issues or emergencies that may arise.
Duties:
- Patrol campus grounds on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the security of the campus.
- Monitor entrances and exits and ensure all entry points are secured after hours.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, security breaches, and suspicious activities by usage of a desktop computer.
- Provide assistance to students, faculty, and visitors as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Perform door unlocks per a written schedule.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phase I-II CLEET Certified License
- Physically capable of performing all required patrols
