FEDERAL CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY!
Siter-Neubauer & Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to support a federal healthcare facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment providing quality dental care to Native American communities, with the potential for a long-term contract extension.
Job Summary
The Certified Dental Assistant will provide chairside support to dentists while assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily dental clinic operations in a federal healthcare setting. Candidates may also rotate to satellite clinics in Española and Cochiti, NM, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during general and specialty dental procedures.
- Prepare patients, operatories, and instruments for treatment.
- Take digital dental radiographs and document patient care in Dentrix.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 1-year contract. Potential for up to a 4-year extension
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
Candidates must meet all of the following:
- DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
- Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 24 months of dental assisting experience
- Experience using Dentrix for charting and clinical documentation
- Experience assisting with restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, and periodontal procedures
- Experience taking digital intraoral and extraoral radiographs
