Superintendent
A well-established, family-owned general contractor with a strong presence throughout the Southeast is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a large-scale ground-up retail construction project. The company has been delivering commercial construction projects for decades and is known for its commitment to quality, safety, client satisfaction, and on-time project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys running complex projects, leading teams in the field, and taking ownership from sitework through turnover.
Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day field operations for a ground-up commercial project

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries

Develop and maintain project schedules in partnership with the project team

Enforce site safety standards and company procedures

Conduct subcontractor meetings and oversee project quality control
-
Resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and productivity
-
Drive project completion while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects

Experience leading ground-up retail, commercial, industrial, or similar projects
-
Strong understanding of scheduling, site logistics, and subcontractor management

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations

Excellent leadership and communication skills
