M. Bohlke Veneer is looking for a dependable Grounds & Facilities Assistant to help maintain our beautiful campus. Every day you'll work outdoors, improve the property, complete landscaping projects, and help keep our facilities looking their best.
You'll join a company that's been family-owned since 1966, employs over 200 people, and has more than 50 employees who have been with us for over 25 years.

Every day is different. You'll help keep our beautiful 20-acre campus looking its best through landscaping, grounds care, light maintenance, and outdoor improvement projects.

Description of Duties:
- Pull weeds
- Plant shrubs, grass, flowers and ground cover
- Digging and raking
- Pick up trash
- Spread mulch, trim hedges, maintain roses and flower beds
- Regularly inspect assigned work areas to insure proper standards are maintained
- Clear drains; improve drainage
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Basic Facilities Maintenance: Help with light bulbs, Door handles, Sign repair, battery changes, and other duties as assigned
- Maintain a “To Do” list
- Communicate daily progress with your supervisor.
- Other tasks will be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements (what traits are needed to do the job):
- Good attendance; punctual
- Physically fit
- Interest in landscaping and gardening
- Pride in workmanship
- Self starter
- Able to work outdoors
- Valid drivers license
Don't have professional landscaping experience? That's okay. If you're dependable, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to learn, we'll provide training.
Must be willing to work in the sun. Approximate length of employment is full time. Mon-Fri, 7-4pm.
