Bush & Bush Law Group is a growing plaintiff personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Attorney licensed in Massachusetts to lead and manage complex personal injury litigation matters throughout the state.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned plaintiff attorney who wants to take ownership of significant cases, contribute to litigation strategy, and play a key role in expanding the firm's Massachusetts practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling high-value personal injury claims, strong courtroom skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from pre-litigation through trial.
- Handle complex personal injury matters, including:
- Motor vehicle accidents (MVA)
- Commercial vehicle and trucking accidents
- Catastrophic injury cases
- Wrongful death claims
- Other high-value personal injury matters
- Develop and execute litigation strategies focused on maximizing client recoveries.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and jury trials.
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and litigation support teams.
- Build relationships with medical providers, expert witnesses, investigators, and other litigation professionals throughout Massachusetts.
- Provide guidance on Massachusetts-specific litigation procedures, court practices, and legal developments.
- Assist with developing best practices for the firm's Massachusetts personal injury practice.
- Mentor attorneys and litigation staff as the practice continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Massachusetts Bar license in good standing.
- Minimum of 10 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Extensive experience handling Massachusetts personal injury cases.
- Strong background in motor vehicle accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
- Proven experience with depositions, mediations, negotiations, and courtroom advocacy.
- First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a complex litigation docket.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
