At Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, we believe every resident deserves to feel empowered, supported, and cared for with dignity. We’re looking for a dedicated Restorative Nurse to join our team and help our residents maintain their independence and function to the fullest.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with therapy and nursing teams to carry out individualized restorative programs
- Assist residents with mobility exercises, walking programs, and self-care activities
- Monitor progress and document outcomes to support each resident’s care goals
- Provide encouragement and compassionate support through every step of the process
- Help create a positive, uplifting environment where residents feel motivated and engaged
- Follow up on falls, investigate, implement interventions, orders, care planning, and notifications to MD/POA
- Monitor resident weights, in communications with dietary staff and dietician
- On call rotation is required every 4th weekend of the month, in collaboration with other nursing management
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience or interest in restorative nursing or rehabilitative care
- A team player who communicates well with residents, families, and colleagues
- A kind and patient presence who brings positive energy to the day
- Active nursing license in good standing (RN or LPN) required
