Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble New York Style pizzas with fresh ingredients, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Manage dough stretching, shaping, and baking processes to achieve the perfect crust and texture
- Operate pizza ovens efficiently while maintaining food safety sanitizing procedures and cleanliness standards
- Execute various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling to support menu offerings
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new toppings or styles that enhance our signature pizza experience
- Maintain high-volume production during busy hours while adhering to food safety management protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and uphold exceptional customer satisfaction standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary environments, especially with pizza or similar cuisine
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety practices
- Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food industry standards including grilling, braising, poaching, and general food production techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with high-volume production demands
- Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus but not required
- Excellent teamwork skills and a passion for delivering outstanding food service experiences
