Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on European, Asian and Domestic vehicles electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrains.
- Utilize schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical issues and interpret complex wiring systems.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and transmission servicing.
- Repair and replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, drive shafts, and suspension systems to ensure optimal vehicle operation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, perform wheel alignments, and address automotive electrical system faults with precision.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering recommendations for vehicle care.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service center experience working with European vehicles. Knowledge of Asian and Domestic vehicles also helpful.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle electronic system repair, powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, and alignment procedures.
- Ability to read automotive wiring diagrams accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Mechanical expertise in automotive repair including diesel engine repair and general maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience in service technician roles demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
