Salary Range: $85K-$115K based on experience
Work Schedule: 40hrs/wk, Monday - Friday. Weekends and evenings as needed based on the demands of the building.
99 bed SNF located in Cincinnati, OH and is conveniently accessible off I-275.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care, including experience in nursing homes, retirement homes, and memory care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote resident safety and quality of care.
- Lead and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to ensure the facility operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for residents.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
- Ensure that all staff are trained in best practices for senior care, including dementia care techniques.
- Monitor the quality of services provided and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulations governing nursing homes and senior care facilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Compassionate approach to caregiving with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Certification as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) is preferred.
