The Director of Sales is responsible for the administration of sales and the move‐in program. The Director will plan, develop, and implement a departmental strategy that maintains a community occupancy level consistent with goals. The Director establishes and implements policies and procedures, develops staffing plans, reports and budgets and coordinates with other departments.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish goals oversee the daily operations of the department to attain or maintain targeted occupancy levels.
· Maintain compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities.
· Design and implement the annual sales and marketing plan.
· Plan ads, newsletters, and other advertising and public relations materials. Interface with the media outlets regarding interviews and press releases.
· Plan, update and conduct sales and marketing presentations. Provide tours of the facility as part of strategic sales initiative.
· Actively contribute towards improving public relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the facility.
· Develop and actively participate in the Outreach Program by providing necessary resources, building contacts, creating awareness and garnering goodwill overall.
· Plan and monitor the Move‐in program to ensure the highest level of coordination and communication with new residents and their families.
· Develop departmental budget, forecasts and staffing plans.
· Act as Resident liaison and advocate to the Executive Director.
· Advise on long range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory interaction. Provide reports and recommendations to the Executive Director as necessary or required concerning the operation of the department.
· Monitor coordination of department services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care. Coordinate with other staff members in scheduling events and use of facilities.
· Complete appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies.
· Attend in‐service classes and staff meetings.
· Continue to develop job related knowledge, skills and abilities by participating in continuing educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
