The Youngstown manufacturing plant is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair of a wide range of equipment including conveyers, buggies, blowers, and sewing machines as well as general facility maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot machines to proficiently diagnose issues
- Repair machines and equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance as directed
- Document finished work orders accurately
- Close plant at end of each shift
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with machine troubleshooting
- Wire welding experience
- Prior experience working with pulleys and conveyers
- Basic knowledge of 480 electrical
- Basic plumbing skills
- Sewing machine repair a plus
Pay range starting at $25 to $30 per hour based on experience.
Schedule: Day Shift; 9-hour shift with occasional mandatory OT
