Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, stem，writing,reading,math, theater, and outdoor games to ensure an engaging experience for all children
- Manage group dynamics by practicing effective classroom management and behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions
- Ensure the safety of campers by supervising activities closely and applying first aid procedures when necessary
- Support children’s emotional well-being through attentive childcare, Christian counseling, and encouragement
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan age-appropriate lessons that align with childhood development principles and early childhood education standards
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns
- Uphold all camp policies related to child safety, health protocols, and behavioral expectations
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, public school, or camp environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster positive group interactions
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; have to pass the background check. additional certifications in special education or childhood development are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Enthusiasm for sports coaching, theater arts, or other extracurricular activities that can enhance the camp experience
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional growth and social skills
