POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: BUDTENDERS
Full-time, Non-exempt positions
40 hours/week
LOCATION: 3475 US Hwy 41 W. Marquette, MI 49855
SUPERVISORY CONTROL: Cannabis Manager/ Assistant Manager
SALARY: Minimum starting wage = $16.00/hr.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Possess a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and have reliable transportation.
· Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds unassisted.
· Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
· Moral character requirements as specified by Company and in accordance with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Licensing Act, section 405.
· Ability to meet sales goals and team goals.
· Self-motivated with a positive attitude, team-oriented with a positive work ethic.
· Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Have good mathematical skills.
· Complete relevant training for the position.
· Detail-oriented; able to stay organized and on task in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous cannabis experience is strongly preferred.
· Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory result of a Security Background Check, pre-employment drug testing, and pre-employment physical
INDIAN PREFERENCE: Preference will be given to qualified individuals of
American Indian descent.
VETERAN PREFERENCE: Preference will also be given to qualified Veterans who do not have bad conduct or dishonorable discharges (need DD214).
:
1. Taking customer orders in person, curbside, over the phone, or via the internet site.
2. Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service at all times.
3. Checking customers’ identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
4. Verify each customer purchase to ensure they do not exceed the purchase limit.
5. Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring the facility is adequately stocked.
6. Ensure the accuracy of all orders.
7. Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
8. Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
9. Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
10. Must be able to work in various weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
