Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information, treatments, and progress clearly and efficiently.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, or geriatrics based on your experience and department needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, coordinate long-term care or hospice services, and ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards to protect patients and staff.Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as ICU, emergency room, hospital medicine, or long-term care facilities.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate patient assessments and interventions.

Pay: $45.80 - $55.16 per hour
