Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently as a Host or Shift Lead.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Toast POS system, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with attention to presentation and quality as a Bartender.
- Provide attentive table service by serving food and drinks, checking on guests’ satisfaction, and handling special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during food handling, serving, and cashiering duties in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems; handle cashiering duties efficiently.
- Support team leadership by assisting in training new staff, managing shift operations, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout busy hours.
Qualifications
- A learning attitude is required.
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant, nightclub, banquet service, or catering is highly preferred.
- Experience working in fine dining settings or with beverage programs such as brewing or bartending enhances your candidacy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; familiarity with retail math and cash handling is a plus.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
