Job Summary
We are seeking a Control Panel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of controls panels and enclosures to customer specifications. This role requires an ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/circuit diagrams and proficiency with hand tools. Experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assemble control panels according to schematics and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Ensure compliance with UL508A and UL698A standards during assembly processes.
- Identify areas of optimization for panel design and functionality
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools used in the assembly process.
- Perform testing and/or troubleshooting of finished control panels.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools, electrical saws, and multimeters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial electronic components and plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety protocols in a light manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
