Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Technician - Wet Process to join a growing team in Blaine, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring chemical processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe production line operations. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, a strong understanding of chemical process handling, and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor each step of the wet process line to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with fellow technicians and Process Managers to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Visually inspect tanks daily and report any issues or abnormalities to management.
- Perform daily production line start-up procedures.
- Follow and enforce all company safety procedures and production standards.
- Maintain accurate production records using basic computer systems.
- Assist with process improvements and additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid Green Card required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- General knowledge of chemical process terminology preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard software programs.
- Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemical odors.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending throughout the shift.
- Regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Use of hand tools and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
