Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing payments swiftly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to delight guests and keep the menu fresh.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers; restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and cocktail mixology techniques.
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry environments that require attention to detail and high standards of service.
- Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to food safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
