Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent Multifamily to lead and oversee multifamily construction project in Sevierville, TN for a 120 unit, 3 building apartment complex from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate all on-site activities, manage construction teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to coordinate site activities effectively.
- Coordinate construction schedules using project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce OSHA and federal safety regulations, and implement quality control measures.
- Review construction contracts, change orders, and manage project documentation using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for seamless communication.
- Lead construction safety management efforts by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all phases of the project.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, cost control, and procurement strategies to maintain financial targets.
- Supervise the review of construction drawings and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
- Manage crew scheduling, site logistics, and coordination of subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.
Skills
- Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial multifamily construction management with proven supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in ProCore
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques including project scheduling and construction schedule coordination.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices.
- Excellent communication skills for managing teams in a fast-paced environment and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, estimating costs, and overseeing quality control processes.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction regulations related to commercial projects as well as blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to operate relevant tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
