Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group (“CCD”), in partnership with MTM, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Clerk to support operations at the Denver RTD location. This position plays an important role in ensuring that maintenance teams have the necessary parts, tools, and supplies available to keep vehicles operating safely and efficiently. The Parts Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering and receiving parts, and supporting daily operations within the maintenance facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and management.
In this role, the Parts Clerk will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing vehicle parts and maintenance supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation. The position includes monitoring inventory levels, placing orders with vendors as needed, and verifying shipments for accuracy upon receipt. The Parts Clerk will assist maintenance personnel in locating and issuing appropriate parts for vehicle repairs, maintain organized storage areas within the parts room, and track parts usage to support maintenance planning and reporting. The role also involves entering inventory data into internal systems, maintaining vendor records, assisting with cycle counts and audits, and ensuring that all parts-related documentation is accurate and properly filed.
The successful candidate must possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced operational environment. Effective communication skills are required to coordinate with maintenance staff, supervisors, and external vendors. The Parts Clerk should be comfortable working with inventory systems and standard office software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential to success in this position.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience working in a parts inventory, warehouse, fleet maintenance, or similar environment is preferred. Experience supporting vehicle maintenance operations or familiarity with transit or fleet parts management is considered an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
This position requires the ability to work in a maintenance facility environment, which may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting parts or supplies as needed. Routine use of computers, phones, and inventory tracking systems is required. The Parts Clerk must be able to move freely throughout the facility to assist technicians and maintain organized inventory areas.
