Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst with a strong legal background to join our fast-paced dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have investment banking or PE background, possess expertise in financial analysis for M&A, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks relevant to private market investments. This role offers an exciting opportunity in “hedge fund like” environment and ability to contribute to our financial operations by ensuring adherence to legal standards, enhancing financial strategies, and supporting risk management initiatives within a growing organization.
Duties
- Builds and creates strategy work DCF, NPV and amortization schedule.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making processes across various departments, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Negotiate with Big Pharma on potential asset acquisitions by understanding competitive market and financial metrics of assets.
- Evaluate and monitor compliance with securities law, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements pertinent to financial reporting and corporate governance.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports, financial statements, and disclosures with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret and implement contracts related to financial services, investment management, and banking operations.
- Negotiate with large pharma cos on royalties of pharma assets
- Support internal controls development, including technical accounting procedures for complex transactions and governmental accounting standards.
- Utilize advanced financial software tools for data analysis, modeling, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide insights into investment opportunities, cash management strategies, and financial concepts that drive sustainable growth.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences with ability to model royalty streams of Biosimilar and other generic and novel drugs; understand and create strategy with competitive and patent landscape
- Expertise in financial concepts including investment management, cash flow analysis, corporate accounting, and banking operations.
- Proficiency in financial software applications used for analysis, reporting, and auditing purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP standards along with experience in public accounting environments.
- Familiarity with legal, accounting practices and legal considerations related to life science industry regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed financial analysis with precision and clarity.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex legal and financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
