Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) – Female Caregiver Needed (Hourly Position)

Pay: $20/hour

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Female Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide quality in-home care for a male client. We need someone who can work Monday to Friday either 9AM to 1PM or 4PM - 8PM . The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life and has their own vehicle.
- Current New Jersey CHHA certification (required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work assigned shifts and maintain a consistent schedule
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or overall well-being
- Assist with medication reminders and administration according to care plans and agency guidelines
- Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory care needs, and other cognitive challenges
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe home environment
- Document care provided accurately using agency documentation systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Experience working with individuals with dementia is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 pounds when required
