Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores and on the road to promote products and services with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Build lasting relationships through excellent customer service, understanding client needs, and offering personalized solutions
- Conduct route driving efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
- Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts, schedule deliveries, and maintain accurate records
- Upsell additional products or services by identifying customer needs and presenting relevant options confidently
- Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when transporting merchandise or equipment during deliveries or setup
- Maintain knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising standards, and product features to effectively communicate value propositions
Experience
- Previous retail store experience or direct customer service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for engaging with people is essential
- Commercial truck driving experience or a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with automobile transportation, route driving, and safe driving practices aligned with DOT regulations
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, calculations, and inventory management accurately
- Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and reporting purposes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices to prevent injury
- Proven organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and client information effectively
