Specifically, we are ISO a dependable, safety-minded Class A Commercial Driver with a clean driving record and solid experience transporting HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT and materials throughout San Diego County.
Schedule
- M-F, 8-hour shifts
- Occasional Overtime, nights, and weekends- as project needs require
Responsibilities
- Safely transport heavy construction equipment, materials, and supplies throughout San Diego County
- Operate Class A trucks, flatbeds, and equipment trailers
- Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy machinery and construction materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field personnel
- Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies
- Assist in the yard or warehouse when driving assignments are complete
- Maintain a professional attitude with coworkers, customers, inspectors, and the public
Qualifications
- Applicants must submit a current clean DMV Driver Record (issued within the last 30 days) along with their resume.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Experience hauling heavy construction equipment preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Ability to pass a road test and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to safely lift, pull, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
