What We're Looking For
-
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
-
Experience with process optimization, workflow analysis, and production efficiency improvements.
-
Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Why, Fishbone, or similar problem-solving methods.
-
Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, and production processes.
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Strong project management and organizational skills.
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common engineering software. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience working in metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, stamping, welding, or commercial building products.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process design.
-
Familiarity with capital equipment projects and facility improvements.
What You'll Be Doing
-
Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects using tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis.

Analyze production data to identify opportunities to reduce downtime, scrap, and manufacturing costs.

Design, improve, and document manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures.

Evaluate and implement new equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing technologies.

Work closely with production supervisors, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to solve manufacturing issues.

Support new product launches by developing efficient production methods.

Lead process validation activities and ensure manufacturing processes are repeatable and reliable.

Drive workplace safety improvements and ensure engineering solutions support a safe work environment.

Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation while meeting budget and timeline goals.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when needed.
