Past experience as an engine mechanic is preferred but not required.
If you have personal experience in repairing tools, power equipment or are a problem solver, you may be a good fit. What is necessary is a positive attitude, willingness to learn and quality work ethic.
Technical training or certification is preferred but not required.
We will provide the tools and service training necessary for your development and technical certification. Ongoing technician education is provided to maintain Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certifications. We service what we sell, including Toro, EGO, Craftsman, Stihl, Spartan, Ariens, MTD, and Black & Decker products.
Responsibilities
This position has many facets. You will perform service ranging from basic maintenance to complex repairs of gas powered and battery-electric outdoor power equipment. There will be communications with customers, vendors, and securing warranty authorizations. To maintain a successful shop environment, you may be asked to handle responsibilities other than repairs such as organization or scheduling of work orders.

Wages depend on experience and education of applicant. Through our commission program, a motivated technician can earn up to 30% of the posted shop rate in addition to their earned wages.
This position is for full time employment (40 hours per week), Monday through Saturday with occasional overtime. Part time hours may also be considered but are excluded from some benefits listed above.
