Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and food handling, with experience in fine dining and nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service to guests, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-stocked.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service while managing their orders efficiently.
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for processing transactions and managing orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding serving alcohol.
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions as needed.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
