We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is an important position within our operation and plays a major role in keeping the kitchen running efficiently, safely, and cleanly.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organization as needed.
- Take out trash and recycling and maintain clean waste areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
- Help keep food-preparation areas, equipment, and common areas clean and sanitary.
- Properly handle cleaning chemicals and follow all safety procedures.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen staff with keeping the operation organized and running smoothly.
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
