Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and medication management in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and ensure all documentation is complete
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience in a retail pharmacy preferred but not required
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
