We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, managing orders efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to engage with guests and maintain a positive atmosphere will be key to our success.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using OpenTable or Aloha POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent guest relations and services.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food in a nightclub or restaurant setting.
Skills
- Proficiency in using OpenTable and Aloha POS systems is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience with cash registers and handling payments accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing help and support to enhance the dining experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, particularly in nightlife settings.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
