Summary of Functions:
- Responsible for processing (sort, wash, and fold) linens for our clients in the hospitality field.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sort, Wash/dry, and fold linens
- Quality inspection - Check for stain and damaged linen (Rip)
Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Basic reading & writing
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs required
Working conditions/physical demands:
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment including but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted.

We are looking for responsible people to fill our production positions on the EcoDirect Laundry & Cleaners plant floor. Work includes: sorting, washing, drying and folding linens for our clients in the hospitality field. In addition to the processing tasks, you will also perform quality inspection, looking for any damages. Such as (stains, tears, rips, etc...) to the linens. Applicants who have some prior experience in the commercial laundry and dry-cleaning field may be eligible for a higher starting salary upon being interviewed. If you are from a different field, we will train you for a successful higher wage position.
Physical demands:
Working conditions are normal for the manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to reach above and below knees.
- Able to withstand exposure to material handling equipment, dust, and moderate noise. Depending on the scope work, machinery and tool operation may require the use of personal protective equipment (eye safety glasses, work gloves, shoe covers)
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are NOT permitted.
Educational & skills requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- Basic reading & writing skills required
