Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNA to join our team. The CNA will play a crucial role in providing high-quality client care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Job Description
The CNA position is a clinical support role with limited direct patient care responsibilities. Primary duties focus on monitoring client health, obtaining vital signs, documenting client behaviors and medical observations, and communicating pertinent information to licensed healthcare professionals. This position does not provide personal care, bathing, transfers, or other CNA-level direct care responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Obtain and accurately document routine vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation, height, and weight.
- Observe clients for changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition and document findings objectively.
- Report significant changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider promptly.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation manually and/or in the electronic health record (EHR) or designated documentation system.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in staff meetings, required trainings, and continuing education.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification not required but is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
- Basic knowledge of vital signs and health monitoring.
- Ability to accurately document observations and maintain medical records.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and observational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Knowledge of infection control and standard safety precautions.
- Ability to recognize and report changes in client condition.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.

Positions Available:
- NOC Shift: 6pm-4:30am Monday-Thursday
- NOC Shift: 6pm-6am Friday-Sunday
- Day Shift: 6am-6pm Friday-Sunday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
