We are a busy, patient-focused cardiology practice dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care in a welcoming and efficient environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Device Technician to join our team and support our electrophysiology services.

Position Summary:
The Cardiac Device Technician is responsible for the interrogation, analysis, programming, and remote monitoring of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs), and implantable loop recorders (ILRs). This role works directly with our cardiologists and clinical team to ensure device patients receive timely, expert care.
Cardiac Device Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-office and remote interrogations of pacemakers, ICDs, and ILRs.
- Analyze and interpret device data, report findings to the provider.
- Program and adjust devices under physician guidance.
- Educate patients on their device and remote monitoring tools.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) EPIC. Familiar with Murj interface.
- Communicate with patients and providers regarding alerts, follow-ups, and urgent findings.
- Coordinate routine device follow-up appointments and remote check schedules.
- Able to identify critical cardiac rhythms and rhythm EKG analysis with proficiency and evaluation for notification criteria and optimal settings for devices.
Cardiac Device Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cardiac device management (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with major device manufacturers: Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik.
- Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and device therapy.
- Certification as a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- EMR experience preferred.
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
