Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of all hotel facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as welding, electrical work, plumbing fixes, and residential painting to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Operate tools and equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Supervise maintenance projects by coordinating with team members or contractors, ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, parts inventory, and service history.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or emergencies related to facilities issues, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
Encouraged ( not all required)
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork collaboration.
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance projects effectively.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
