Jet/Vac Truck Operator

About the role
Tunnel Vision Pipeline Services is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team based in Gladstone, Michigan. In this role, you will operate vacuum truck equipment for a variety of pipeline and industrial services. Aid in pipe and manhole rehabilitation. This position requires travel to job sites throughout the region, with occasional overnight stays away from home.
Responsibilities
Safely operate Jet/Vac trucks for hydro-excavation, liquid waste removal, and pipeline cleaning services
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and ensure equipment is properly maintained
Follow all safety regulations, company procedures, and applicable DOT requirements
Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
Accurately complete daily logs, manifests, and other required documentation
Assist in other tasks as required
Minimum qualifications
Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement — valid and in good standing
Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT physical requirements
Willingness to travel to job sites and stay overnight as needed
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Preferred qualifications
Prior experience operating Jet/Vac trucks or heavy industrial equipment
Experience in pipeline, utilities, or industrial service industries
OSHA or safety certifications a plus
