American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Rochester, NY, requiring ACLS, PALS, and phlebotomy competency.

Work in an Emergency Department serving a combined adult and pediatric patient population
-
Patient ratio is 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required when census warrants
-
Epic EMR used; prior experience preferred
-
Active NY RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
-
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
-
Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement is mandatory for all RNs at this facility
-
Required clinical skills: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management, blood product administration, central line care/management, continuous IV paralytics and sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, CVA care, emergency medications, and isolation precautions

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
