This position has a start date of Monday, August 10 for training prior to the first day of school on Thursday, August 20.
In the role of Elementary Math Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching math in three grade levels: 3, 4, and 5. You will meet with these grades every day, sometimes for 2 periods per day. In these classes you will need to follow detailed curriculum plans to ensure that students are on track and our existing pacing schedules. There will be a schedule and lesson plans provided for you to follow.
In addition to your role as a math teacher, you will maintain the general atmosphere of one grade level during transition periods including and not limited to: between other classes, lunch, recess, and the end of the day. Bus duty will be assigned at regular intervals.
