Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal canditate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient shipping and receiving processes, supporting order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. You will ensure all packages are handled with care while picking / stacking orders, managing inventory, loading/ unloading, trucks and perform light maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack and label orders manually (without scanners). Note : Most items are 50-60 lb bags or boxes.
* Logistics: Load and unload trucks efficiently using pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts.
* Inventory Management: Maintain accuracy through regular stock counts and replenishment; verify inbound/ outbound shipments against documentation and update logs.
* Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks following all safety protocols.
* Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized environment to promote safety and efficiency in all distribution activities.
* Additional tasks: Willingness to perform additional taks around the property during slow times, when shipping / receiving is slow.
Requirements & Experience
* Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in shipping, receiving, and order picking required.
* Equipment: Certification or hands-on experience operating forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) and reach trucks.
* Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and measuring; strong attention to detail.
* Manual Processing: Ability to work effectively without scanners, manually recording of quantities and lot numbers.
* Physical/ Other: Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly; English proficiency, ability to commute to Bainbridge PA.
