Jubilee HR Consultants, on behalf of their client, is recruiting for a Title Agency Operations Manager to join the team of a growing Gulf Coast business.
The Title Agency Operations Manager oversees daily title and settlement operations, ensuring real estate transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company, underwriter, client, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead daily operations for title searches and real estate closings.
· Manage and develop the team of title and closing professionals. including hiring, training, coaching, assignment of work, and performance management.
· Monitor workflow and production metrics to ensure files meet quality, turnaround-time, service level, and customer expectations.
· Coordinate with underwriting and examination teams to resolve title defects, liens, ownership discrepancies, probate matters, easements, and other complex issues.
· Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, underwriter guidelines, company policies, escrow controls, and information-security requirements.
· Maintain to improve accuracy and reduce claims, rework, missed deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Implement process improvements that increase productivity, standardize workflows, and strengthen the customer experience.
· Maintain strong working relationships with customers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, vendors, and underwriting partners.
· Prepare and present operational reports covering volume, turnaround times, quality, staffing, expenses, and team performance.
· Support budget management, vendor oversight, technology implementation, audits, and strategic initiatives.
· Maintain accurate transaction records and legal documentation.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Current Alabama Title Agent License.
· Three (3) or more years of title, escrow, settlement, mortgage, or real estate operations experience.
· At least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
· Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Strong understanding of title insurance practices and underwriting standards.
· Excellent analytical and organizational, skills.
· Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency with title software, client databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
· Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume operations, competing priorities, and strict deadlines.
· Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to read and review detailed legal documents and contracts.
· Occasional standing, walking, and attending closings or court proceedings.
· Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically.
· Office environment with frequent interaction with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.
· May require occasional travel to closing locations, courthouse, meetings and conferences.
