- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area, including stocking shelves as needed.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed.
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred; grocery store experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience with merchandising and stocking practices in a retail environment.
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
