$143,519.88 - $162,655.87 Annually
Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 1 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role contributes to microservices development, AWS-native services, REST services, and CI/CD in a collaborative Agile environment.

Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.

Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.

Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.

Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
-
Support Agile software development and delivery.
-
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
-
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

3 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.

Experience with at least 2 of the following:

Java, Spring Boot, or Python.

JSON Schema.
-
Microservice architectures.
-
CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.

NoSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB query and schema design.

OAuth/OIDC implementation.

Test frameworks and automation including Cypress and Cucumber.
