Job Responsibilities
The Event & Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Repairing wood arches, backdrops, props, and other event décor.
- Performing general repairs and maintenance throughout the warehouse.
- Assisting with building, painting, refurbishing, and maintaining event inventory.
- Performing general handyman duties as needed.
- Loading and unloading event equipment, décor, and rental items.
- Assisting with deliveries, event setup, and breakdown at various venues.
- Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the warehouse.
- Assisting the office team with event preparation, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.
- Following all company safety procedures while handling equipment, tools, and materials.
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Completing additional duties assigned by management to support company operations.
Job Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Be dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when events require.
- Successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
Required Employment Documents
Prior to your first day of employment, you must provide the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Social Security Card
OR
- Valid U.S. Passport (acceptable in accordance with federal employment eligibility requirements)
Employment is contingent upon providing acceptable identification and employment authorization documents required by federal law.
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
This position is contract during the summer called as needed once busy season starts ending of August beginning of September it will get more busy.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
