We are looking for a charismatic and responsible employee to represent our establishment. The host or hostess is the first person our customers interact with when they come to our restaurant. A good demeanor and proper attention to detail are needed for this role. In essence, the host sets the tone for our customer's dining experience, seats guests efficiently while listening to their special requests, and completes other tasks throughout the restaurant as needed.
This role requires open availability on the weekends and must be bilingual.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a kind and friendly manner.
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Respond to guest questions or special requests.
- Assists other employees with sidework and helps fellow team members in other departments.
Qualifications:
- Adequate verbal communications skills. Bilingual Spanish/English necessary.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy restaurant environment.
