Overview:The Hospitality Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the dining rooms, host, server coordination, and bar areas. The major accountability of the Hospitality Manager is to coordinate the entire front of house team. Responsibilities:
- Hires, onboards, orients, trains, supervises, completes daily missed punches, and annual reviews approve payroll and motivate all Team Members.
- Effectively manages employee-relations issues, including utilization of corrective action measures when necessary.
- Manages salary/wage administration meeting for budgeted labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed and effectively manages labor cost, including food, beverage, and labor objectives are met.
- Trains Team Members on clear expectations of dining room etiquette, team appearance, conduct and service.
- Exhibits proficiency with the POS system by completing cash transactions guest refunds and discounts, and comping data; understands, trains, develops, and coaches team pivot points while following all steps of service while serving the guests.
- Ensures guests feel welcome by providing quick and courteous service.
- Understands and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Achieves company objectives in sales, service, quality, facility appearance and sanitation, and cleanliness through constant training.
- Develops sales techniques to increase guest counts and check averages.
- Ensure the dining room is operating to company standard for excellence in the restaurant.
- Implements selling techniques of merchandise and retail items to the guests.
- Implements strategies to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Maintains procedures for service team to understand cost and waste of products.
- Responds to all guest comments promptly and respectfully within the store and on the social platform within a 48-hour turnaround with the General Manager’s insight.
- Maintains an average of 4.5 SMG score with TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp, and Facebook.
- Assists in planning and preparation for all catering operations for inter-company special events and/or meetings.
- Ensures all equipment is kept clean and in good working condition by the following company preventative maintenance programs.
- Compiles special event and holiday recaps.
- Generates fun and excitement through personality and a positive attitude to help ensure many return visits from guests.
- Conducts daily directional meetings with service staff and store meetings quarterly.
- Monitors and implements housekeeping and sanitation standards, which includes cleaning of the entire dining area; responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for the entire front of the house: windows, doors, floors, mats, walls, decor, ceiling, other equipment, and beverage storage areas.
- Preserves the integrity and value of bar by overseeing all front Team Members handling and preparation and through proper ordering, rotation, and defrosting procedures.
- Calculates bar cost percentages, bar cost extensions by conducting a weekly food inventory, and reports them to the General Manager and Executive Chef/District Manager of Restaurants.
- Ensures all paperwork is complete, accurate, and turned in on time.
- Be proficient in opening and closing a shift, including completing all paperwork.
- Organizes front of the house and bar area including incorporating promotions.
- Completes Front of House and Bar management duties.
- Ensures all daily side work is completed by staff and checked out by management before leaving the building.
- Generates fun and excitement through personality and a positive attitude to help ensure many return visits from guests.
- Provides friendly and competent customer service.
- Ensures the security of the restaurant and Team Members during operational hours.
- Orders and monitors bar inventory and conducts spot audit of inventories as necessary.
- Understands and complies with all federal and state regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements.
- Helps to develop, plan, and carry out marketing, advertising, and promotional activities including community involvement.
- Reports for work promptly when scheduled.

Qualifications:Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- Three to four years of high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality preferred.
- Serv-Safe Certified.
