Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and cooking tools efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Help manage the flow of dirty dishes from the dining area to the dishwashing station.
- Ensure that all dishes are returned to their proper locations after cleaning.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
