Description:
Meat Cutters are responsible for cutting and preparing all varieties and cuts of meat.
Requirements:
Essential Functions

Recommending, slicing, weighing, packing, and pricing product

Perform general stocking duties

Rotate the product and remove the expired product

Ensure shelves and displays are clean and neat

Perform general cleaning duties

Operate tools and equipment safely

Greet and talk politely with customers

Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information

Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude

Function as a team member and get along with others

Adhere to daily work schedule

Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed

Physical requirements

Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,

Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 110lbs

Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift

Push/pull a heavily loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack
-
Push/pull a loaded stock cart
-
Demonstrate above-average manual dexterity
-
Operate heavy equipment; Forklifts, baler, etc. (will train)

Ability to work an entire shift in a refrigerated environment
Education and Experience
A High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous industry experience preferred
N.M. Food Handlers Permit (will certify)
Age requirement
Minimum age 18
