Job Summary:
We are a quick service restaurant serving fried chicken inside Daily's. Primary tasks are to prepare food & beverage orders, maintain cleanliness in all areas, and provide exceptional service to customers.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests and answer questions
- Prepare orders
- Prepare ingredients
- Cook menu items using various heating methods, such as ovens, friers and toasters
- Count and weigh product
- Follow mandatory logging procedures
- Clean and maintain equipment, cookware, and utensils according to safety regulations and company standards
- Clean and maintain coolers, dry storage, kitchen, and prep areas
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues
- Adhere to all health and safety standards
Education and Experience:
- Entry level position- no experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Friendly personality
- Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write)
- Able to read and follow a series of instructions
- Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances
- Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
- Climb a step stool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and crouch
- Perform functions using a touch-screen kiosk, tablet, and kitchen ordering system
- Read orders from a kitchen monitor
- Occasionally work in cold temperatures, such as when stocking freezers
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
