Area Manager for the San Francisco Bay Area
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Overseeing 2–3 store locations)
lil sweet treat is looking for a driven, experienced retail leader to oversee stores across the San Francisco area. As Area Manager, you'll be the connective tissue between store-level execution and company goals by driving consistency across locations, and making sure every LST store delivers the same joyful, sweet experience our customers love.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling practices across all assigned stores, ensuring each location is fully staffed with a strong, well-trained team and that coverage gaps are proactively resolved.
- Ensure smooth daily operations across all locations, including customer service, inventory management, and store presentation, stepping in directly when a store needs hands-on support.
- Own the P&L for your portfolio of stores: Managing inventory levels, optimizing customer flow, monitoring sales trends, and collaborating with ownership to set and track financial goals at both the individual store and area level.
- Maintain consistent cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards across all stores, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at every location.
- Set clear KPIs for sales, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity across your stores; regularly track, analyze, and report on performance, identifying trends and coaching managers on how to close gaps.
- Identify and share best practices across stores. When one location solves a problem well, make sure the others benefit from it.
- Travel regularly between assigned locations (San Francisco Bay Area) to provide in-person support, conduct audits, and maintain visibility into day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing 2+ retail store locations simultaneously. This is a required qualification for the role.
- Proven track record in retail management within a high-volume, customer-centric environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities are a must, in order to be able to prioritize across multiple locations without losing sight of details.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to support stores during peak days (Friday–Sunday).
- Reliable transportation required for multi-site travel.
Must obtain ServSafe Certification before store opening (For any newly opened locations in your area). Previous ServSafe certification is a plus.
