Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
- Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial painting, stucco application, plastering, caulking, and masonry finishing.
- Assist with renovation projects by handling demolition prep, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work.
- Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites and operating equipment responsibly.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial or industrial painting projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of construction site procedures including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and maintenance of painting equipment.
- Experience with construction estimating, renovation projects, framing carpentry, drywall finishing, masonry work, and plastering is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects in different environments.
- Prior work on construction sites involving renovation or restoration projects is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
